How are months counted when days don’t divide evenly?
The years/months/days result uses calendar arithmetic: it counts full years first, then full calendar months, then leftover days — the same way you would count anniversaries on a wall calendar.
Does the count include both the start and end date?
The total days figure is the difference between the two dates (end minus start). If you need to count both endpoints inclusively — e.g. for a rental or leave request — add 1 to the result.
Can I calculate an age with this?
Yes. Set the start date to a birthday and the end date to today; the years/months/days result is the exact age.
